The Drongo’s are a family of corvoid bird distributed across Africa, southern Asia, the Indian Ocean islands and Australasia. About 25 species are recognized.

A study on the Fork-tailed Drongo (Dicrurus adsimilis) species complex revealed possible hybridization between D. a. divaricatus and D. m. atactus (Fuchs et al., 2018).
