Acanthizidae

The Australasian warblers are native to Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand and the south-west Pacific.

Hybridization has been documented in two genera, Calamanthus and Sericornis. In the latter genus, hybridization between White-browed Scrubwren (S. frontalis) and Atherton Scrubwren (S. keri) was confirmed by mtDNA analysis (Joseph & Moritz 1993).
